- ANZISM has established a Special Interest Group relating to –
“Waste Treatment and Energy”.
This SIG is a group devoted to:
- recognising the emerging innovation and development of renewable energy systems
- recognising the emerging innovation and development of effective “Waste Treatment” processes
- recognising the linkage of effective waste treatment and renewable energy in developing and integrating the effects and benefits of sustainability in all aspects of daily life
ANZISM is pleased to announce that the SIG is being heading by an internationally recognised Founding Chair :
Dr Songpol Boonsawat.
The SIG will allow members to network with others in this sector or with an interest in this sector and recognises the importance of this aspect of global sustainability.

This SIG is a group devoted to:
- recognising the influences of ancient history and influences on todays sustainability principles.
ANZISM is pleased to announce that the SIG is being heading by its President – Alan Tupicoff.
The SIG will allow members to network with others with an interest in past influences and how history, cultures, heritage have impacted on today’s sustainability trends.

These awards are a recognition of excellence and achievement in the use and implementation of Sustainability, as per United Nations – Pillars of Sustainability / Principles of Sustainability / Sustainable Development Goals / Earth Charter. NOTE: entry is open to all persons involved with sustainability.
Entries may be submitted in any category and for any size or location. Australian and New Zealand national winners and category winners will be individually announced for New Zealand entries, International entries and for Australian entries.
