There has been much talk since the beginning of 2018 about the perception of the effects of Climate Change, particularly in regard to storms and other natural disasters.
It is therefore opportune to note that Inseries Electronics P/L (a member of the Finding Other Solutions Consortium) in Australia has released a range of portable power storage devices (Travelvolt) which are charged from inbuilt solar panels. The release of these units can be seen as a further example of how industry has taken up the challenge of sustainability and now offering efficient and cost effective equipment to meet the emerging global needs.
Travel Volt – Portable power everywhere
The units being offered will assist in initiatives being able to comply with the overall requirements of United Nations (and internationally endorsed) Sustainable Development Goals 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.
To begin to meet the challenges of the Sustainable Development Goals, we must all be part of the process of changes required. The products allow reliable renewable power to be supplied to remote areas as well as areas where power may not be reliable. It will also allow power to be available in response to emergency situations, as it relies of renewable portable power systems.
